Katherine joined the FACT team in 2024 after a decade of regenerative cut flower and vegetable farming in central North Carolina. She has an undergraduate degree in Community Engagement in Sustainable Food Systems from North Carolina State University. She is committed to the humane treatment of animals, social equity, and environmental justice. Outside of work Katherine can be found tending to one of her many hobbies including sewing, cooking, reading and swimming in the coldest body of water she can find.
