FACT in 2023: Our Impact

We at FACT have been thinking about our highlights over the last year. We have had significant successes in both our Humane Farming Program and our Safe and Healthy Food program, and we are excited and optimistic that our impact and interest in our work will continue to expand.

Check out our highlights of the year below. For us to continue to make all this work possible, please consider making a donation to FACT's Holiday Appeal.

Black Earth Forest Farm in Maine

We distributed $253,700 in grants to 87 farmers in 34 states plus Washington DC.

This crop represents our largest cohort ever, funding a diverse number of projects, ranging from mobile housing for laying hens to fencing for goats and waterlines for bison.

Cabin Hills Farm in Oregon

Our network of humane farmers grew from 10,000 to 11,600.

And our educational programs impacted the work of thousands of farms throughout the country.

Cricket Creek Farm in Maine

The FDA acknowledged that carbadox, a carcinogenic drug given regularly to pigs which ends up in our pork products, should be taken off the market.

This would not have happened without the diligent persistence of FACT.

To continue making this impact, we need your help. Half of our funds come from FACT’s supporters.

During this holiday season, please consider supporting FACT by making a gift of $48, $115, $285, $570, or another amount that is meaningful to you.

Thank you for your generous support of our work.
